We are looking to hire an energetic, highly-motivated and innovative, entrepreneurial water treatment sales professional in the Raleigh, North Carolina area.


Job Description:


Chemsearch FE’s Water Treatment Sales Specialist is an outside sales position to identify, develop and service existing and new water treatment accounts in the Raleigh, North Carolina area.  We offer an unparalleled training program, uncapped income potential, and a culture that recognizes results.




  • Build a strong customer base within core market segments using a proven sales strategy developed and vetted over several decades.
  • Responsibilities include identifying, contacting and using multiple selling strategies like cold calling, appointment driven sales, solution selling and system selling to develop a customer base to include new and existing Chemsearch FE customers.
  • Deliver sales presentations and express value propositions using a variety of state of the art media and proposal tools.
  • Develop customer retention and additional penetration by focusing on building strong relationships, customer education, and value added services to continuously bring new solutions on board.
  • Hands-on servicing of accounts which includes but is not limited to; field testing and onsite analysis, calibration and repair of chemical feed related equipment, and visual inspections of systems when necessary.
  • Schedule service and sales calls – includes daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Perform other administrative related duties as required.

Position Requirements:


  • Four year (BA or BS) preferred
  • Water treatment experience preferred, but not required
  • 1+ years of business development using mechanical principles preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively manage time with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to deliver content to all levels of an organization (most presentations will be delivered via iPad and video)
  • Excellent problem solving skills 
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Applications
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Mechanical aptitude
