Chem-Aqua – Water Treatment Regional Sales Manager

The Water Treatment Regional Sales Manager will manage the day to day operations of the multiple districts/markets.  Primarily focused on Phoenix and Las Vegas sales teams.  The candidate will be focused on supporting field reps in the areas of account service, new account generation, and start-up of new accounts as they are sold.  This Regional Sales Manager position will report to the Divisional Manager and will have the potential to expand geography managed with successful performance. This is a remote position and the successful candidate is required to live within the Phoenix, AZ market.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales teams primarily in Phoenix, AZ and Las Vegas, NV markets.
  • Responsible for monthly reporting of sales/billings activities and projecting future sales growth.
  • Lead decision making and direction of managed teams.
  • Assist sales reps with RFP activities as necessary.
  • Establish transition plans for new accounts and portfolios.
  • Set sales targets for the sales team according to territory initiatives.
  • Maintain and help increase standards of Chem-Aqua customer service.
  • Drive team performance.
  • Assist sales reps with large portfolio account reviews.
  • Coordinate strategic account compliance with appropriate BDM
  • Lead training and development of the sales team for success on and off the field.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, College Degree Preferred.
  • Experience in boiler/cooling chemical water treatment is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales/sales management with a proven successful track record.
  • MUST be able to identify new business opportunities, develop and implement water treatment solutions for our prospects and customers.
  • MUST have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with experience working on teams from multiple locations.
  • MUST demonstrate proficiency with all of the Chem-Aqua software required of the reps
  • MUST be knowledgeable in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • MUST be Highly Motivated and a Self-Starter.
  • MUST have demonstrated leadership, organizational and management skill.
