🌟 What You’ll Do

As a Lead Technician, you’ll be the field-based, hands-on technician who will be responsible for people, planning, and performance.

• 🤝 Conduct site surveys, write site-specific JHAs, and approve confirmed space permits.
• 🔍 Assist dispatch and supervisor with scope and scheduling
• 📈 Evaluate Technicians and identify refresher trainings needed in Techs and report to the Supervisor
• 💡 Enforce OSHA standards, assist with incident investigations in the field, coach Techs who are not following procedures, and report to supervisor, support audits
• 🔍Approve chemical compatibility, review waste documentation (sump trucks).
• 📈 Manage full descaling projects, conduct job site safety briefings with crew and customers
• 🤝 Lead multiple crews at a time
• 🔍Ensure personal LMS Compliance, Conduct performance review of Techs and report to Supervisors

🔎 What We’re Looking For

• Must be comfortable with pressure washing equipment
• Have a mechanical and leadership aptitude
• Required work activities include but are not limited to, climbing and descending stairs and ladders (from 10-30’ in height), sometimes while carrying drums of chemicals weighing up to 75 pounds, while maintaining a 3-point ladder contact (per OSHA rules). As of the date of this job description, the available ladders have a weight limit of 375 pounds.
• Assist in the transportation, moving, and lifting of heavy equipment such as power washers, steam cleaners, water vacuums, and filters, which may weigh up to 200 pounds.
• Must be able to enter and exit from work in confined spaces.
• Able to perform work above head height or below the knees.
• Wear and use proper PPE (including respirator qualification and fit tests, protective coveralls, boots, glasses, gloves, and head or face masks or shields.
• Perform physical work in an HVAC or boiler equipment environment, requiring exposure to chemicals, noise, hot and cold temperatures, and inclement weather.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekends required, along with overnight travel.
• This position requires travel about 35-50% of the time, depending on the region.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help customers solve real problems.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record (DMV record will be checked).
