problem solving, and entrepreneurial skills. The Fuel Quality Assurance Program (FQAP) Field

Technical Service Representative is a customerfacing technical role responsible for protecting

Fuel system integrity and equipment reliability through expert execution of Certified’s fuel

quality programs. This position delivers handson technical service including system installs,

inspections, sampling, and maintenance while serving as a trusted partner to customers

operating in demanding industrial environments.

 

In addition to ensuring program compliance and service excellence, this role supports sales

efforts by collaborating closely with sales representatives and customers to identify risks,

resolve fuelrelated issues, and reinforce the value of Certified’s fuel quality solutions across

construction, mining, quarry, and heavyequipment industries. This position will report to the

Fuel Program Vice President.

Responsibilities

Success in this role is defined by the safe, consistent execution of Certified’s Fuel Quality

Assurance programs. Through disciplined, compliant installation, service delivery, and effective

collaboration with customers and sales representatives, this role creates measurable value,

builds operational trust, and supports the longterm growth and credibility of Certified’s Fuel

Quality Assurance Program.

 

  • Safely execute Certified’s Fuel Quality Assurance programs by performing installations, fuel sampling, inspections, and maintenance in compliance with all EHS standards and sitespecific safety requirements.
  • Protect customer assets and fuel system integrity through disciplined preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and identification of fuelrelated risks impacting equipment reliability and uptime.
  • Deliver consistent, highquality field service across demanding industrial environments including construction sites, quarries, mining operations, and heavyequipment facilities.
  • Serve as a trusted technical partner to customers and sales representatives, building strong working relationships that support program adoption, issue resolution, and longterm retention.
  • Ensure program compliance and service accuracy through proper documentation, reporting, sample handling, and use of mobile field service systems.
  • Maintain operational readiness by managing tools, vehicle inventory, consumables, and service materials required to support assigned territory needs.
  • Support the growth and scalability of Certified’s service offerings by executing the FQAP with consistency, professionalism, and adaptability as additional programs are onboarded.

Experience and knowledge

 

  • Some experience in a field service, technical service, maintenance, or handson role, or a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn through training and onthejob experience; experience using remote cranes or similar lifting equipment for safely handling drums and totes is a plus, but not required.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, equipment operation, or industrial processes; prior exposure to fuel systems, filtration, or heavy equipment is helpful but not required.
  • Comfort working at customer sites in outdoor or industrial environments such as construction sites, quarries, mining operations, or equipment yards.
  • General knowledge of safe work practices and a willingness to follow Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and sitespecific safety requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to safely operate a company vehicle while traveling within an assigned territory.
