Responsibilities:

  • Create and generate reports and dashboards through MS-Excel, Tableau and other available software to interface with senior management and internal/external customers
  • Pursue and identify transportation cost reduction opportunities
  • Develop and monitor transportation measurement indices
  • Review and analyze carriers’ rates and charges
  • Perform data maintenance in Oracle ERP, Precision TMS, and FreitRater
  • Analyze transportation routing and costs including:  data collection, validation, and outcome measurement.  May include financial, claims, data reconciliation and trend analysis
  • Analyze and suggest supply chain network improvements
  • Participation on cross-functional teams as requested by Divisions
  • Set high standard of ethics, accuracy, commitment to customers and NCH associates
  • Other duties as assigned by management

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University in Supply Chain/Logistics or Business is preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience as a Supply Chain Analyst/Business Analyst preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • MUST have advanced knowledge MS Office Excel. Experience with Oracle, Precision, Tableau, and FreitRater a plus
  • Must have inquisitive personality with the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exist 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation, communication and facilitation skills
  • Detail oriented; Results driven; Ability to apply business and logical sense while understanding and addressing the bigger picture
  • High degree of adaptability as there are a variety of issues on a day-to-day basis and expectations to respond to these issues appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Fast learner with an innovative and positive approach
