Technical Support Representative

 

NCH is established, yet growing and we are seeking a Technical Support Representative to join Danco, Inc., a division of NCH Corporation. In this role, the Technical Support Representative will be responsible for offering product support and overseeing all consumer related questions that come into the Customer Service Department via website, social media, email, phone and mail. Responsibilities:

 

  • Daily processing and responding to support mailboxes, ACD lines and interdepartmental requests.
  • Tracking and identifying product trends and addressing concerns when appropriate.
  • Providing product training to the Customer Service Representatives.
  • Maintaining company master cross reference.
  • Involvement in company meetings and ability to collect and report technical support metrics.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Some college coursework preferred.
  • A strong understanding of plumbing products and hands-on experience is preferred.
  • Experience with facility maintenance is preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot with customers to determine the root cause of problems.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of effectively communicating with customers experiencing difficulty with products and working cross functionally with other departments to resolve issues.
  • Strong skill set in product application and DIY.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines and goals.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
