A little about you

 

You have a learner mentality. You stay on top of the latest technologies and updates so that you’re in-the-know, especially in the chemical space. You have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. You pick up on new concepts quickly and apply them to your day-to-day work and share with the team.

You’re a Team Player. You work well with others and put the success of the team above all else. You’re highly motivated and flexible, and do well in business-critical high-stress environments.

You give great customer service. You respect individual’s questions and inquiries and treat all customers the same. You manage expectations well and are always happy to help. There is no dumb question to you. You also work in a timely fashion so customers can get back to it.

You’re a problem solver. If you don’t have the answer, you can figure it out or find it in a timely manner. You have lots of ideas when it comes to troubleshooting and are determined to fix the problem at hand. You also recognize when issues need to be escalated for a prompt solution. You love being resourceful and can thrive in unclear situations!

You’re a confident communicator. You work well with others and can confidently communicate, whether in-person, on the phone or via email, with a variety of people, including those you have never met.  You are comfortable communicating and educating associates and customers on new products and product application, or resolving customer issues. You are a confident presenter and writer, always communicating complex ideas and technical information clearly.

Project management is a strong suit for you.  Aggressive deadlines and large projects do not scare you.  After all, you are an excellent multi-tasker and have great attention to detail. Even when you have multiple projects to manage with competing priorities, you deliver results on time and error free.

Day-to-day work examples

  • Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application in order to resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
  • Provide support to Reliability Team, Sales Management Group, Sales Force and Customer Base via Email, Phone, Virtual Meetings, or Direct Contact Meetings.
  • Continuous Improvement of Certified’s Reliability Programs: Certif-I.D. Tagging Program; Certified Seminar Series; Certified Customer Visit Program; Customer Tank Monitoring Systems.
  • Provide status of ongoing and future projects to aid in the identification of customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.
  • Internal project management to ensure that development initiatives are completed in a timely manner.
  • Lubricant training, both practical application and theory, with the intent of gaining industry accreditations MLT/MLA/CLS.
