A little about you

You have recruiting experience. You have a bachelor’s degree and five years of high volume recruiting experience. You understand full-cycle recruitment processes and can apply your knowledge to enhance and improve talent acquisition best practices and results. You have developed and implemented new recruiting strategies in the past. You also stay up-to-speed on the recruiting industry in general.

You are a proactive talent seeker. You do not just sit and wait for applicants to come to you. You attract passive job seekers in creative ways. You know how to seek and identify potential talent, as well as sell the company in a way that makes people want to apply. You build strong pipelines of candidates that you refer back to and leverage when new positions open.

You love people. You know that recruiting is based in customer service. You also know that recruiting requires effective communication, and communication is a strong suit of yours. You are relatable and responsive. You treat each individual as that – an individual – and tailor your recruiting approach and communication style to fit the person and the position at hand, whether it’s in an interview, at a networking event, etc.

You excel in relationship building. You know how to build strong relationships with hiring managers, direct reports, internal stakeholders and peers, as well as with candidates. You’re a great collaborator and team player. You enjoy conversations and interviews, truly getting to know people for who they are. Through that you tend to build trust and close relationships easily. People rely on your for input and dependability.

You are strategic-minded. One size does not fit all. You can listen to the needs of stakeholders and develop a unique strategy to achieve their specific goals. You are analytical, always looking at what’s working (and what’s not) to improve, develop and tweak your approach. You can take various pieces of information, such as industry trends, application patterns and stakeholder feedback, and turn it into an executable plan to attract talent.

You are a leader. You are always working toward the bigger picture business objectives and goals. Your mission is to bring others along with you in that journey. You are a great listener and enjoy developing people. You naturally look for areas to improve and grow your work, your team and your company.

You are intuitive. In general, you have strong assessment skills. Your love for people and relationship building coupled with your strategic mindset, enables you to assess talent to determine if they might be a good fit for a particular position. You’ve had great success in the past matching candidates with open positions and identifying top talent.

You are organized. With high volume recruitment comes a high volume of moving parts and pieces. You are able to keep these parts pieces moving in an organized fashion – applications, open positions, interviews, etc. – so that no detail is missed. This enables effective communication, keeping candidates and stakeholders informed and updated and the recruitment process running smoothly

You are a natural brand advocate. You believe in your company and are passionate about its people, culture and offerings. You participate in company activities, demonstrate core values in your day-to-day work and are proud of who you work for. Because of that, you can easily translate that message to external candidates.

Day-to-day work examples

We support growth, opportunity and variety, which means your day-to-day has the potential to adapt with you and your passions. If you’re not challenged and growing, neither are we. For starters, though, here are some day-to-day examples of what you will be doing:
