A little about you

 

You are IT savvy. You have at least 6 years of Microsoft Exchange and Windows experience in large enterprise environments and preferably a Bachelor’s degree. You have knowledge and experience with the following: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Exchange 2010 and newer, Proofpoint, Microsoft Active Directory, Airwatch, Dell/EMC server hardware; Powershell commands, Office 365, Fenestrae Faxination, and virus removal and removal tools.

 

You’re a problem solver. If you don’t have the answer, you can figure it out or find it in a timely manner. You have lots of ideas when it comes to troubleshooting and are determined to fix the problem at hand. You also recognize when issues need to be escalated for a prompt solution.

 

You have a learner mentality. You stay on top of the latest technologies and updates so that you’re in-the-know. You pick up on new concepts quickly and apply them to your day-to-day work and share with the team.

 

You are an effective communicator. You understand the IT world well enough that you can interpret requests and clearly provide responses and help in return. You can communicate with all types of individuals and stakeholders. You are well-versed on the phone and in person.  

 

You give great customer service. You respect individual’s questions and inquiries and treat all customers the same. You manage expectations well and are always happy to help. There is no dumb question to you. You also work in a timely fashion so customers can get back to it.

 

Day-to-day work examples. We support growth, opportunity and variety, which means your day-to-day has the potential to adapt with you and your passions. If you’re not challenged and growing, neither are we. For starters, though, here are some day-to-day examples of what you will be doing:

 

  • Provide direct technical support and direction for worldwide Exchange, Windows, and Active Directory infrastructure
  • Assist Server Team and Server Team Manager with all program management processes, team meetings, server governance and resource management
  • Plans and implement major Microsoft Exchange and Airwatch software upgrades and releases ensuring change management procedures and methodologies are implemented and followed
  • Design and configure the Exchange infrastructure to maintain a stable, secure and highly available Exchange email environment through close monitoring and careful maintenance to minimize downtime and outages.
  • Manage operational issues related to Exchange infrastructure and work on identifying solutions
  • Troubleshoot Root Cause Exchange mail flow issues for multiple client environment
  • Work in a collaborative environment via WebEx or Teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems referred by first or second tier service desk support
  • Actively participate in rotating on-call schedule and in ticket resolution queue
  • Participate in monthly weekend maintenance periods for security and system updates
  • Effectively communicate with clients, team, and management
  • Effectively manage workloads based on priority and urgency
  • Adhere to Operational and Service Level Agreements
  • Adhere to ITIL standards and practices
  • On-Call availability 24x7
  • Travel up to 10% including international locations
