Responsibilities:

  • Generate new product ideas and process improvements.
  • Define, implement, evaluate and approve lab processes, testing procedures, new raw materials and suppliers.
  • Generates and develops new experimental or analytical methods, processes, or procedures that enhance NCH technical capabilities.
  • Generates new program ideas for submission to business.
  • Lead the acquisition, set-up and maintenance of laboratory test equipment.
  • Develop, review, approve and maintain product technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance of all products to both domestic and international regulations.
  • Provide technical information, presentations and training to sales staff, customers, and industry groups.
  • Writes program final reports, monthly & quarterly program and platform updates, and present to the business.
  • Capable of gathering Voice of Customer information for new product development, fielding technical marketing/sales inquiries, and troubleshooting customer complaints or process issues.
  • Manage daily work assignments and mentor staff development.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum requirement of Masters in Biological Sciences, PhD preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the Biotechnology industry preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to collaborate and communicate with multiple departments including Sales and Marketing in order to develop new or improved products.
  • Working knowledge of ISO, FDA, EPA, and GMP processes.
  • Some travel required.
