Senior Financial Analyst

The Plumbing Products Group (PPG), a division of NCH Corporation, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst.

The Senior Financial Analyst, under the supervision of the Senior Director of Finance, provides a unique opportunity to drive business and process change by applying insights gathered from various applications, retail platforms, operational processes, and bespoke analytical tools.  You will directly impact data-driven decision-making by providing accurate and clean data to key stakeholders.  This position will interface regularly cross-functionally and with Executive Team members to analyze financial and operational data in order to measure and compare profitability, cash flow and identify improvement opportunities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with Executive Team members and Accounting to prepare, process, and review plan, forecast, and quarterly updates to include review packages.
• Lead or assist with analytical projects as assigned; projects may include acquisition opportunity analysis, corporate and department overhead allocations, fixed and variable cost analysis and pricing strategies.
• Assist with driving service excellence, provide financial insights to support the forecasting process ensuring appropriate channel/category mix, and operating expense management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to include modeling.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of related finance experience
• Strong analytical skills to enable clear linkage of financial results to operational performance drivers. Generate alternatives, and drive positive change
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and willingness to take initiative
• Ability to independently execute projects and meet deadlines with limited direct supervision
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented, cross-functional and fast-paced culture with competing priorities and tight deadlines
• Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
• Tableau experience preferred
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the thorough accounting knowledge required to build comprehensive financial models
