NCH is looking for a Process Engineer for it's Mohawk Labs manufacturing facility in Irving, TX. The Process Engineer, reporting to the plant manager, will be responsible for developing, installing and monitoring the equipment and processes in the Grease manufacturing department. The North American Chemical group is in a growth mode and the grease/lubricants segment has shown continuous growth with a solid longterm outlook.  

 

Responsiblities Include:

 

  • Research and development of new equipment (this can include design responsibilities)
  • Monitoring of equipment – including regular testing and ensuring maintenance tasks are carried out
  • and external regulations and protocols
  • Oversight of processes and working to maintain optimization of the production line
  • Assisting Process Technicians in troubleshooting in the event of a problem
  • Data collection, interpretation and report writing
  • Presentation of data and reports to senior colleagues and management
  • Installation of new equipment
  • Continual evaluation of equipment and processes to ensure both efficiency and quality remain high

 

Requirements:

 

  • Proven work experience in process engineering in a batch manufacturing environment
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Knowledge of process related standards
  • Experience in process simulations
  • CAD or AutoCad skills a plus
  • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
  • BS degree in Engineering
