We are seeking a dedicated Pool Equipment Installer. You will specialize in installing, repairing, and upgrading commercial pool systems, including pumps, feed systems, controllers, and automation. You will ensure proper water flow, electrical connections, and system functionality while educating customers on operation. This role will travel throughout the United States to perform pool equipment installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Set up and plumb new pool pumps, feeders, automation systems, controllers
- System Upgrades: Replace old or faulty equipment.
- Plumbing & Electrical: Perform PVC plumbing, pipe fitting, and minor electrical wiring for pool equipment.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Test equipment for leaks, proper operation, and pressure levels.
- Customer Education: Instruct clients on how to use new equipment and automation systems.
- Site Preparation: Evaluate, prepare, and clean the installation area.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in pool construction, plumbing, and minor electrical work (1–3+ years preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of pool systems, water chemistry, and plumbing schematics.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy equipment (50+ lbs), work and perform manual labor.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license; relevant electrical or plumbing certifications are a plus.
Typical Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
