Chem-Aqua is the wholly owned water treatment subsidiary of NCH Corporation, a privately owned specialty chemicals, maintenance supplies, and services company with over $1 billion in annual sales. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Operations Project Manager to work across business teams to oversee critical projects. A little about you

  1. Experience
    1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline
    2. 3+ years of experience in project management related to construction or project coordination
    3. PMP and/or Agile certification is a plus
    4. Experience in running concurrent tasks and resource allocation
    5. Experience in a diverse and complex global organization
    6. Experience with Salesforce.com, Oracle, custom development, and mobility projects
    7. Experience in procurement and managing vendors including contract negotiation

  1. Projects and Project Portfolio
    1. Ensuring operations projects are:
      1. following governance practices,
      2. kept on track / on budget / on scope to the best ability
      3. are managed in such a way that issues and obstacles are actively raised and addressed
      4. accurately reported and status is accurately reflected
    2. Acting in role of Program Manager as needed
    3. Providing regular visibility to progress  and issues regarding strategic and high-visibility initiatives
    4. Acting as a liaison to external or Corporate audit or compliance teams
    5. Monitoring the status and financial health of the Business Unit and Regional portfolios of critical projects
    6. Ensuring projects that merit Executive attention have representation at project prioritization and demand planning meetings

 

  1. Vendor Management
    1. Work with critical vendors
      1. to ensure  they meet service and contractual obligations
      2. to review critical metrics
      3. to maintain relationships
