Financial Assistant

We’re looking for an Financial Assistant to join our Executive Management Team. This person will work closely with the Executive Financial Assistant to oversee financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on daily financial entries and reconciliations for our founding family’s finances. A little about you

  • You have minimum 3 years of experience working as a bookkeeper, or administrative assistant with heavy bookkeeping duties.
  • You preferably have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, High School Degree or equivalent is a must
  • You have a strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and are proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS excel, MS Word, and Outlook
  • You have basic knowledge of information required by CPA for tax preparation
  • You have strong time management skills, excellent follow through on projects, are able to work efficiently, and handle multiple tasks
  • You are well organized, have great attention to detail, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You are a solutions oriented self-starter with sound judgement and are able to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • You are willing to jump right in. You’re willing to support the team wherever needed, especially when it comes to administrative duties. You’re a quick learner and resourceful, making new tasks easy for you.


Day-to-day work examples

We support growth, opportunity, and variety, which means your day-to-day has the potential to adapt with you and your passions. If you’re not challenged and growing, neither are we. For starters, though, here are some day-to-day examples of what you will be doing:

  • Work closely with the Executive Financial Assistant on various projects
  • Prepare bank account reconciliations, bill payments, and deposit records for our founding family’s finances
  • Create and maintain detailed partnership files
  • Process expense reports
  • Organize and assemble the information needed for our CPA to prepare tax returns and financial statements
  • Perform cash management duties, including contacting bank officers and arranging bank transfers
  • Maintain contacts with investment managers to obtain financial and tax information
  • Assist in transition from a paper-based to a paperless work enviornment 
  • Support Executive Assistants with light administrative tasks
  • Assist with light property management tasks for various properties (i.e. setting up utilities, bill pay, organizing paperwork, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned
  • This position is not eligible for remote work
