We’re looking for someone to join the Global Corporate Services (GCS) Information Technology team as the Information Technology Asset Procurement Specialist. The IT Asset Procurement Specialist is responsible for performing the daily activities of the technology purchasing function. The Procurement Administrator will work across IT and business teams to oversee purchases of equipment, software, and supplies. A little about you


  • Previous  IT asset procurement  with 2 years of related experience
  • Experience using spreadsheet software, time tracking software, purchasing software and relevant office software
  • Works with a high degree of integrity; maintains confidentiality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to determine the company's product needs and to create constructive relationships with vendors.
  • Effective negotiator
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills


Day-to-Day Work Examples

We support growth, opportunity and variety, which means your day-to-day has the potential to adapt with you and your passions. If you’re not challenged and growing, neither are we. For starters, though, here are some day-to-day examples of what you will be doing:

  • Works with members of the IT community and with Business partners on IT related purchases and some office purchases
  • Evaluate and negotiate pricing and/or contracts with vendors
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and new products
  • Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing
  • Helps with initial vendor contract documents – Create all PO’s required from vendors and provide to department requestor/directors
  • Researches, interviews, and negotiates with suppliers to obtain prices and specifications.
  • Research & respond to inquiries of order status, changes, cancellations, etc.
  • Process equipment returns and track purchase credits
  • Receives invoices and work with finance to ensure they are paid and confirm purchases are charged to correct company departments.
  • Follows financial  processes and controls
  • Oversees receipt and  stocking / inventory activities / delivery in house  of purchased items
  • CFR Reviews – review requested equipment listed (or software licenses) are company standard, approved items.
  • DOMAIN / Web Certificate management
  • Maintains excellent records and audit trail
