EAS Development Manager

We’re looking for an EAS Development Manager to join the Corporate Information Technology in our Enterprise Applications Services (EAS) project team. A little about you

 

You have B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems and have worked in a manager of software development role for at least 10 years.  7 years of your experience includes hands on experience with Full Stack Software .NET web development using C#, ASP.NET MVC, WEBFORMS, SQL. Some of the technologies you are comfortable with include: Responsive web application development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS; Building & consuming Windows services; Asynchronous messaging and queuing frameworks; Unit, regression and load testing; Portal & CMS technologies, integration with Oracle Applications, Active Directory & SSO; Integrating with Oracle EBS R11i and/or R12i.

You have a consultative personality. You have no problem quickly building rapport and credibility with your business partners.  People see you as an analytical, problem-solver and an influential personality, capable of handling complex issues and delivering appropriate solutions.

You are a consensus builder. You truly understand the challenges and opportunities in serving a global internal customer population.  Your ability to work with multiple business teams in helping to articulate their needs and to design viable applications is exciting for you. You also enjoy building relationships and are confident in presenting your ideas to key business leaders, Division and Business Unit CEOs, and Presidents. 

You are an innovative problem solver.  You look at the way things are done and always ask yourself if there is a better way to do it.  You bring innovative ideas to the table to improve process efficiency.  When tasked with a problem, finding the solution excites you.  

You are a strong, fair leader. You enjoy leading in a people-serving role and can successfully manage others.   • Coach / manage development personnel to ensure the team achieves project goals; provide direction on application development and enhancements; supply support and guidance where appropriate; foster team building; performance evaluation; staffing requirements
  • Provide technical leadership guidance for the development of web-service architecture, web, client & mobile applications from requirements gathering, development, and implementation  
  • Be highly self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail
  • Manage a high degree of change in a fast paced, complex and demanding environment
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle
  • Establish and sustain strong on-going relationships with IT and business partners
  • Provide clear and consistent communication of project status both internally to IT and with Business Stakeholders
