Chem-Aqua Services Regional Field Supervisor

 

Chem-Aqua is the wholly owned water treatment subsidiary of NCH Corporation, a privately owned specialty chemicals, maintenance supplies, and services company with over $1 billion in annual sales. We need experienced talent for our growing Chem-Aqua technical team. 

 

The Chem-Aqua Services Regional Field Supervisor will report to the General Manager of Chem-Aqua Services providing support and direction for a team of Chem-Aqua Services Technicians.  This position will directly manage 10-15 Service trucks consisting of 20-30 field technicians. This position offices in our Irving Global Corporate Headquarters.

 Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with business partners and acts as a liaison between services teams and the business partner
  • Promotes business knowledge of Services process, roles, and procedures to ensure the best possible outcome
  • Determines the appropriate course of action for business needs: immediate resolution through existing functionality, support request for quick implementation, or as part of a larger effort.
  • May assist in defining new services to support business needs.
  • Participates in the development of metrics used to track value delivery
  • Manage compliance with all safety and policies and procedures
  • Drive safety and initiatives
  • Travel to project locations, as needed
  • Supervises daily activities of all operators and coordinates the activities of field techncians
  • Monitors scheduling of Service crews; monitors operational effectiveness
  • Track, compile and analyze performance; handle interdepartmental issues; resolve employee issues and grievances; improve processes and scheduling
  • Makes hiring decisions for authorized roles; evaluates the work performance of staff; ensures the timely and efficient completion of all assigned tasks
  • Assists in accident/incident investigation, including any needed on-site assistance and support to safety and training personnel
  • Coordinates with the safety and training department to ensure all safety goals and directives are met
  • Perform other administrative related duties such as expense reports, compliance, maintenance files, and miscellaneous requests as assigned and based off of special projects given.

 

 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Management experience required
  • Extensive Cooling tower/coil cleaning experience or HVAC experience
  • Proficient in MS Outlook Calendar Management
  • Highly polished phone and in-person presence, with the ability to problem solve on the fly
  • MUST be very flexible, organized, able to manage multiple projects and able to work with all levels of staff
  • MUST have a positive attitude, a commitment to client service and a willingness to support the office team with a variety of assignments
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn and maintain multiple software systems
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
