Associate Scientist

This position is responsible for testing our existing biological product line as well as helping in developing and testing products for new markets. This position will be based at our Mohawk Labs facility. Responsibilities:

  • Performs water treatment and diesel sample micro testing reporting laboratory test data into laboratory software
  • Report laboratory test data into lab software
  • General lab maintenance which includes cleaning, autoclave waste, organize orders and maintain instrument log books, keep updated calibration on equipment; maintain & update SOP’s
  • Keeping inventory and ordering consumables

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or Microbiology is preferred or equivalent experience
  • A self-starter with proven critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Experience in a lab environment or with practical experimental class work
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and capable of working on multiple tasks concurrently
  • Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
