Associate Project Manager - PMO


Thank you for exploring a career with NCH Corporation, an international company where we work in small teams that have a direct impact on success! We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our global Project Management Office (PMO) team. 


The Associate Project Manager will join our Corporate IT team to drive projects and ensure project performance as part of the NCH Project Management Office (PMO). This position is responsible for ensuring the development of project request templates, Statement of Work, project plan, project schedules, meeting agendas, communication plans, and other project management plans included in the project portfolio and posted to the corporate knowledge base.  If you are seeking a position with high visibility and responsibility in a personable, stable yet thriving environment, our Associate Project Manager opportunity, could be a match for you!


Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Project Management team to conduct project management activities; including generating project plans and tracking project progress
  • Support the existing project methodologies and processes in support of the project lifecycle
  • Maintain SharePoint Web portal
  • Conduct and manage IT governance process
  • Responsible to take input from the business analysts and project engineers to develop and maintain the detailed schedule
  • Training coordination and administration for the IT group
  • Compile summary documents, e.g. Project Meeting Summaries and Project Status Reports and various other administrative tasks
  • Special projects as assigned by supervisor


Key Requirements:   

  • Bachelor’s degree, related Information Technology OR IT Project Management experience with PMP or CAPM certification is preferred
  • Previous experience in an administrative capacity in an IT organization
  • Organizational skills including conducting meetings and accurately assembling meeting minutes and assigned actions
  • Experience with a labor tracking software application a plus
  • Excellent customer service with written and oral communication skills where experience with multiple stakeholders from many business facets; strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and ability to approach zero errors in final work product
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Must be self-motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high demand environment
