Accounts Receivable Specialist

They will decrease DSO while improving cash flow and performing dispute resolution. This opportunity will require heavy internal/external customer interactions through all means of verbal and written communications. This position will also meet all department aging goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage account assignments
  • Responsible for managing past due balances to ensure nothing greater than 180 days past due
  • Researching and contacting customers with payment issues
  • Research and resolve dispute reconciliations
  • Provide department support by following up on AR department emails
  • Attend and contribute to Monthly AR meetings
  • Complete and manage portal registration requests in order to establish a trading relationship with our customers
  • Submission of invoices into portals as needed and/or problem resolution
  • Perform various duties as assigned

Experience and knowledge:

  • 3+ years of extensive concentrated AR experience
  • 3+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Excellent aptitude in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

 

Education:

  • Required: Associate's Degree or 5+ years of direct AR experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
