What you’ll be doing
As a Sales Recruiter focused on hiring Outside Sales Representatives, your role will be instrumental in growing our sales team quickly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing a high volume of candidates and ensuring we bring on top-tier talent who can drive sales, grow customer relationships, and contribute to our overall success.
• High-Volume Sourcing & Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for multiple Outside Sales Representative roles across many territories in the US and Canada. Leverage various sourcing channels (LinkedIn, job boards, social media, referrals, etc.) to build a robust
pipeline of candidates.
• Candidate Screening & Interviews: Conduct phone interviews, virtual interviews, and assessments to evaluate sales candidates’ qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Use behavioral interviewing techniques and sales role-play exercises to assess candidate abilities.
• Collaboration with Sales Management: Partner closely with the Business Development Team to understand specific hiring needs, sales territory vacancies and potential, and the ideal candidate profile to ensure high-quality hiring decisions.
• Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with a large pool of candidates, ensuring consistent communication throughout the recruiting process. Keep candidates engaged and informed to maintain a positive experience.
• Talent Identification: Focus on identifying candidates with a dynamic, results-driven personality, demonstrating a natural talent for sales and a history of consistent achievement and success in previous or related roles.
• Market & Industry Insight: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor strategies to ensure the best candidates are identified and pursued.
• Optimized Recruiting Processes: Implement efficient recruiting processes to ensure rapid candidate evaluation and hire while maintaining a high standard of quality. Streamline processes to reduce time-to-fill and improve the candidate experience.
• Data-Driven Recruiting: Track and analyze key recruitment metrics (applicants, screens, interviews, time-to-hire, offer acceptance rates, pipeline conversion rates, etc.) to continuously improve the recruitment process and achieve hiring goals.
• Employer Branding: Promote Certified Labs as an employer of choice to potential candidates. Share our company culture, values, and growth opportunities to attract high-performing sales professionals.
• Offer Management & Negotiation: Extend offers to selected candidates and manage the negotiation process to ensure successful hires, including compensation discussions.
• Onboarding Coordination: Work with HR and Business Development Managers to ensure smooth transitions from offer acceptance to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires as they begin their journey with our company.
Qualifications:
• High-Volume Recruitment Experience: 3+ years of experience recruiting in a high-volume sales environment, with a proven track record of filling multiple positions while maintaining high candidate quality.
• Sales Recruitment Expertise: Strong understanding of what makes a successful Outside Sales Representative, with experience recruiting for field sales, B2B, or sales territories.
• Exceptional Sourcing Skills: Ability to identify and attract top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
• Strong Communication & Interviewing Skills: Ability to effectively assess sales candidates through structured interviews, phone screenings, and role-playing exercises. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational & Time Management Skills: Ability to manage a high volume of candidates and hiring processes simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Results-Driven: Proven ability to meet aggressive hiring targets while maintaining a high standard of candidate quality.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.), and other digital tools to streamline recruiting efforts and manage candidate pipelines.
• Adaptable & Resilient: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Comfortable adapting strategies quickly to meet evolving business needs.
• Sales Mindset: Understanding of sales performance metrics, customer relationship-building, and the traits that make a successful Outside Sales Representative.
• Team Player: Collaborative and able to work effectively with internal teams, including Sales Managers, HR, and leadership, to meet hiring goals.
