Primary purpose of the role:

The purpose of the inventory control clerk is to assure that all key inventory practices are being followed.  The role is to provide support and uphold the high level of inventory accuracy that is required by our company and our customers.  This role supports both the Danco and LSP businesses at the PPG DC.

Key Duties for the role:

  • Performs daily cycle counts. Updates and records discrepancies.  Audit, research, and correct inventory as needed

  • Coordinate and perform inventory movements

  • Perform product maintenance as needed.  Perform bin/warehouse maintenance as needed

  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

  • Perform all other duties as required, including cross training in Material Handling

  • Other duties as assigned



Position Requirements:


  • High School diploma or equivalent. 

  • This role requires the individual to perform their tasks on an electric “Order Picker”.  Written and driving test required.

  • Strong written and verbal skills.

  • Intermediate MS Office (Excel, Outlook) skills with the ability to learn the NCH’s operating system (Oracle, Focus).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must have high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Must be able to work independently and complete responsibilities within time constraints.
