We have a great opportunity to make a difference with our Engineering team.  We are looking for top talent to fill the role of the Engineering Tech/Data Manager. This key role is designed to provide cross-functional support and project management for new product rollout, Engineering Testing/Design, item definition and completeness of item attributes in our enterprise system. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain item attributes and new Item Setup in Oracle and Avante
  • Maintenance of Bills of Material and inventory slotting
  • Assist Engineers with Product Drawings, 3D and 2D modeling
  • Provide functional area expertise in the definition and maintenance of the product data
  • Participate in the reporting specifications and obtain user sign off
  • Write reports and correspondence
  • Execute, create and document engineering tests

 

Education and Experience required include:

  • Associates/Bachelor in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience/degree
  • 3D solid modeling , Solidworks preferable
  • Understanding of GD&T is a plus
  • Experience with Solidworks EPDM or other PDM/PLM tool a plus
  • The ability to take and record measurements
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Oracle E-Business suite experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate information and requirements across multiple geographies and business functions
  • Strong problem identification and problem solving skills. 
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (particularly Excel) and the ability to navigate forms in a web-browser based business application
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, engineering drawings, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Experience working with BOM’s and maintaining item attributes in ERP system
